The Experience
At Sandstone Sanctuary you will be immersed in the rhythm of nature.
The modern luxury of the Sanctuary House is your gateway into the peaceful energy of the outdoors - the Sanctuary Experience.
Surrounded yourself on all sides by nature - situated on 20 acres of private land backed by over 300,000 acres of beautiful Central Pennsylvania State Forest.
When you arrive at the Sanctuary and close the gate, you will leave day to day demands and worries behind, unwinding into the rhythm of the natural world from a place of comfort, ease and secluded luxury.
The Sanctuary property is nestled at base of the mountain and features its own spring fed pond, a beautiful mountain meadow, and 20 acres of forest land with your own mile-long trail that winds through different forest types, crosses a seasonal stream and takes you to a historic spring that travelers used over a century ago.
Relax by the spring fed pond, meditate on the Sandstone Rock, sit on the deck and listen to the wind while you watch the trees move in the breeze. Enjoy yoga on the deck, explore the private trail, discover the many special sitting places stashed throughout the property, or just sit back, relax and allow the natural world to reset your mind and body.
Customized guided retreat experiences are also available.
